Slowly Ascending Mt. Messy Office

This may sound silly, but next week I will be back to a normal five-day work week for the first time in quite a while. The transition from basketball season to the spring sports season can be extremely difficult, as I don't get to take a breath from the short in between time between the two.

The end result is many vacation days that I must use by April 1st (or lose them), which creates a big pinch in my preparation for the spring season. Not only that, but my office looks not like one tornado swept through, but several. So that is next week's agenda, filing away all of the winter sports stats, recaps, my manilla folders, file folders, rosters, and programs. It's a hectic cleanup.

Not only will I be putting the finishing touches on the winter sports, it will give me a chance to start catching up on the baseball, softball, and track papers that are currently piled up on my desk, awaiting to be organized.

Next week will be dedicated to organization, both in my home and work offices. This summer, my plan is to reorganize my home office and start filing my years of sports coverage. Currently, some stuff sits in bins in my work office, or on the book shelf. I believe I have a tub of stuff at my parents house, several tubs are packed away in the shed in the backyard, and two bookshelves are filled in my office. OY!
