Former Knoxville Girl's Basketball Coach Rick Cline Takes Over Galva Wildcats

IHSSN has just learned that Rick Cline will take over the girl's basketball program at Galva High School. Cline has not coached girl's basketball since the 2007-08 season, when he guided the Knoxville Blue Bullets to a (23-7) final record. Cline was the head coach at Knoxville for four seasons, compiling a (66-50) record there. Cline is also the head soccer coach at Orion. He takes over for Jeremy Trill, who resigned after three seasons. The Wildcats girl's basketball program is looking for a resurgence, as it has a (27-112) record over the past five seasons, and the team was also winless (0-30), during the 2003-04 campaign, a year removed from winning a regional championship (2002-03), the only postseason championship in school history (girl's basketball).
