It came to my attention on the Illinois High School Sports message boards, that there were only 56 players listed to compete in the four-squad, Mizuno Super 60 on Sunday at the Eastside Centre. There are 14 players on each team, as it stands.
I contacted Adam Duvall of the Peoria Journal-Star, who is in charge of the Super 60, and he said due to other summer committments, many had backed out in the last few weeks. Over the next couple days, the roster could fill back up to 60 players for Sunday's slate of games.
