I am back in San Jose for my final night of my "mancation". I call it this, because I am doing what I want, when I want to do it, and if I get lost....it's just another adventure! Went up to Oakland today to the McAfee Coliseum and watched the Oakland Athletics play the Minnesota Twins. I got sun burned pretty bad. More on the game and surroundings later. I was in the 15th row, directly behind home plate. Amazing seats! I bought them on Friday night off of the Oakland A's website. Talking with a couple sitting next to me, they said it was the season ticket holder section, and the guy who had the seat I was sitting in, Randy, was actually at the game, but two rows up. Thanks Randy! After taxes, the tickets were only around $55. Parking was $17, and beer was reasonable, just $5. Since I was driving back to San Jose after the game, I only spent one Abraham Lincoln.
At this time, I am heading out to San Jose in search of a pub or sports bar for dinner.
