With kickoff set for hours away, I will share with you some insights on tonight's game between the Silver Streaks and Potters. Below are tonight's starters and my game notes.
Streaks baseball coach Arnie Gonzalez is my guest color commentator tonight. In the pregame show, here my talks with Morton coach Jason Thiry and Galesburg coach Wes Olson, along with an update on the sophomore team with their coach, Jake Miller. The sophomores will open their season on Saturday at home against Morton. The freshman will play at 5:00 at Morton tonight. Defensive coordinator Shawn Hickey comes up to the booth in the postgame show, and hopefully Galesburg Register-Mail assistant sports editor Aaron Frey stops in during halftime. Pregame show should begin around 7:00.
